Hope in a gloomy world

Today...
as usual is another sad day. I sometimes wonder how many more sad days must I go thru. Though I cannot understand, I know that God must have a purpose for me to go thru all these. My life is a mess... but I still hold on to that eternal hope that I have in Christ Jesus. Someday... somehow... God will let me know in His Perfect timing. One sister-in-Christ commented about a month ago that she noticed that I am no longer that cheerful. I wished I could just tell her what happen but I thought not. Not everyone can take such news. Nevertheless, whether u know or dun know, just pray for me...
I'm praying and still praying... that I will be back to my normal self... now my life only centre about God's Words and my work. Got a thesis to complete... got exam papers to set... got assignments to set... but sometimes, I just dun feel the motivation to wake up.
This photo that I have chosen really represented my thoughts well... There is hope beyond a gloomy world...

i see life like a book with many chapters in it. and although a chapter in our life may have ended, we have walked into a new one, with the memory of the previous one as experience and for keepsake. the prev chapter may have been the best in our life, but we never know what the author of life has in store for us!

Hi Mr Choy! =)) Sean here. Sigh. Sometimes things just do go the way we want them to. But if there's anything comforting to know, Christ is always there! =)) Draw strength from Him and trust in Him always. I'm glad you're holding steadfast in the Lord. =D

there will not be happiness without sadness...more often than not...it is the sadness that makes happiness even more heart warming and elating...so..it all depends on how u perceive troubles in life...what's life if it is always full of joy n nth else...then we would not have the motivation to move on...troubles are there for us to realise that we have to find the solution to it and to further develop ourselves emotionally and mentally...making us stronger in faith...never give up...giving up and surrendering to troubles only allows them to overcome ur strong personality...so...smile..and always have positive thinking....if not indulge in things that will make u happy...yah...

well...i know it may be a little too late to comment on this entry but i juz wanna say this...
this picture may look like a picture of the sun setting...
yet if u look at it in another perspective, it will actually seem to be a rising sun to brighten up ur day, to provide u the hope and energy to carry on and fight til the end....
